The District Student Council's (DSC) Mission is to elevate and unify student voice within the district, 提高学生参与度, and facilitate collaboration and interaction between various PPS student groups and PPS leadership. The DSC is made up of PPS high school students who meet bi-weekly at the Prophet Education Center (PEC) prior to PPS 教育委员会 meetings. 

JJ Kunsevi serves as the active Student Representative on the 教育委员会 elected body for the 2024-2025 academic year. JJ Kunsevi also coordinates and leads the District Student Council throughout the school year.

The core functions of PPS Student Council include: 

• Elevate and leverage student input on school and district issues to PPS leadership.
• Incorporate student perspectives in board meetings and policy, in support of the Student 教育委员会 Representative.
• Host Annual District Student Council Student Summit.
